Bettina Abascal founded Momentum in 2003. For more than 20 years, she has been the connective tissue between bold ideas and the teams that execute them, bringing brands and agencies production partners they did not know existed and the confidence to try something that has not been done yet. She leads new business and client strategy, which means she is usually the first call when a brief is harder than the budget or timeline should allow.
Her degree is in journalism, and it still shows up in how she works: asking the question that gets to the real problem before proposing the fix. About a decade ago, she pushed Momentum past its multi-cultural focus and into production solutions, tech, and innovation, the move that built the firm as it stands today, connecting brands and agencies across experiential, AI, social, digital, and content.
Based in Miami, working worldwide.
Juanita has been at Momentum for five years, running the pipeline that keeps agency relationships and partner communications moving. She is a strategist first: thinking two steps ahead about which partner belongs in front of which agency, and when.
She is also an obsessive creator, which means she does not hand off work until it is actually right, not just done. Five years in, she is one of the people at Momentum who agencies count on to already know what they need before they have finished explaining it.
Natalie Osma comes to Momentum’s outbound and new business work with a production career most agencies would love to have in-house. A member of the Producers Guild of America, she was Director of Physical Production at Story House, the scripted and non-scripted division she helped build for Univision and Televisa.
She ran multi-country shoots, negotiated with stakeholders across territories, and delivered projects for Netflix, Amazon, and HBO. She was also a cultural consultant on Disney Animation’s Encanto, and has produced more than 100 music videos with artists including Shakira, Juanes, Mike Tyson, Jon Batiste, and Pharrell.
Bring us the brief that doesn't have an obvious partner
Fifteen minutes on Zoom is usually enough to know whether we have the answer.
What is actually working right now, who is building it, and what it costs. No pitch.
